Preparations and start date.

Preparations in support of the program have already started.
In June of last year,2017, in an effort to partner with the locals and lay the groundwork, Gloria travelled to Kinshasa and had a chance to meet with the Secretary General of the Congolese MB Conference in Kinshasa. He was pleased with what the mission entailed and subsequently gave us an invitation letter welcoming us to proceed with the mission.
In February of this year, 2018, our first donated computers of 45 in number arrived in Kinshasa. They are currently stored in safe place awaiting start date. We are continuing to collect donations of either desktops or laptops from all over the country particularly in Edmonton and Central Manitoba.
A second of batch of computers were collected this summer from various donors and were shipped to Morden, Manitoba awaiting shipment soon.
We also made a trip to Honduras in February for an intensive hands on field training. We got to see firsthand how the program works, and we were humbled.
Continuous networks of partners are being sourced to invite them to partner with us in this mission. We are talking to individuals, churches, organisations and even the government. So far the process is slow.
We are anticipating that securing all funds available, we hope to be on the ground and operating by latest November of 2019 or no later than January 2020.
